“We used the services of American Leak Detection to detect a very difficult plumbing issue that we have. They did an excellent, outstanding and thorough job. It's going to be quite expensive to repair. However, they have the tools and the skill or the experience to find the problem which the other plumbers weren't able to find. They also got it on camera and so, there was no question of where the problem was. Whereas the other plumbers realized that there was a problem, but never had the tools to diagnose exactly as to what the problem was. We have been dealing with this issue from the time we moved into this house which is probably 4 years now. We wanted to get it resolved, as we are planning to sell the house in another 6 months. The price was lower than it could have been. They gave me a range and the final price was in the middle of the range which was good. They are very popular plumbers and they told us that it would take 3 weeks before they could get to us. However, they were able to get to us 2 weeks earlier than what they had originally specified. We didn't have an emergency situation and we could have waited for 3 weeks, but they exceeded our expectations from the performance stand point. Their punctuality was unbelievable and they were here exactly to the minute. The plumber came from San Antonio and I was very impressed with their punctuality. The plumber made a detailed drawing of our house and he apologized when he made one little mistake. He said that it would be taken care of when the final drawing is done. His scribbled notes were like engineering quality drawings and I know that, as I am an engineer. He did a scale drawing of all the plumbing lines in our house. They had estimated $ 1200 and the bill came up to $ 900. The price was for detection and they haven't yet fixed the problem.”

He was right on time, and he was very professional

“American Leak Detection found a leak in my concrete slab. The guy was great, the equipment was awesome, and he found the leak quickly. He listened to all of the pipes inside, pumped an inert gas into the system, then he was able to detect where the gas was coming out. I didn’t compare the price with anyone else but the price seemed fair because he was doing pretty technical stuff. He came out the day after I called, he was right on time, and he was very professional. If I had another problem, I would call them in an instant.”

“Noel is a very pleasant man who arrived on time and was very professional throughout our dealings. I like to understand what is going on and he was very patient in answering all my questions. He found the leak and sealed it temporarily at no extra cost. He told me I would be given an estimate for the repair within 2 days and if I chose not to use his company they would be happy to send the report to whomever I chose to do it. I appreciated not being pressured into having the work done by them. The company followed through with a diagram and a good description of the problem and a price estimate. I asked them to do the work because I had confidence in their judgment and the work they had already done. They are pros and though not necessarily the cheapest I knew I would have a first rate job with a good guarantee from a solid company. I set the date and I was pleased to see the same man who had given the original estimate. Noel was very punctual as promised. He was very careful of my property and the pool equipment before lowering the pool level and again patient with my questions. The bill was the same as the estimate. I appreciated knowing ahead of time what the cost would be.”

I tried 2 plumbers without success. I finally called your company and you sent out Ryan Osborne. Man was he great. He not only found the water leak but also a gas leak.

“I had an extremely bad water leak outside - over 47,000 gallons a month. I tried 2 plumbers without success. I finally called your company and you sent out Ryan Osborne. Man was he great. He not only found the water leak but also a gas leak. We called the gas company and they came out and fix the gas leak. Your employee, Ryan Osborne, told me to call a plumber as he could not work on the plumbing part. We called (plumbing company) and they came out and said the leak was under my driveway or the house. Ryan said it was not. The company quoted $820 and then said it would be much more. I told them to stop. I called Ryan, he had given me his card and said to call him if I needed him any more. I did. I called him and he came out again and again found the leak. He suggested that I call another plumber which I did. The new plumber is working on the fix now. Ryan was extremely helpful. “The bad news is that a pipe leading to/from our pool broke resulting in a precipitous drop in the water level; the GOOD NEWS is that ACE POOL SERVICE recommended AMERICAN LEAK DETECTION. Tommy responded first, detected the area of the leak and was able to plug a pool drain to stop the water loss until the repair crew arrived to dig up and replace the broken pipe and then repair the concrete they needed to go through and even completely clean up after. They also explained what they were doing during the job and gave me the broken section of pipe as a souvenir. In addition, the office staff was very helpful and very professional. All things considered, a perfectly excellently done job. Wish all companies solved problems as well as this one does.”
